I had a fantastic experience with Apex Plumbing service. From the moment I called, they were responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. The plumber arrived right on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and explained everything clearly before getting started. It was determined that the root cause of the problem was a sewer backflow pipe issue, which falls under the responsibility of the HOA. Unfortunately, this led to sewage backing up into my garage and causing damage. The plumber handled the situation efficiently and with great attention to detail. They not only addressed the immediate issue but also ensured everything was clean and in proper working order before leaving. It’s clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. While additional repairs such as drywall replacement, sanitation, and mold treatment are still needed, those are the responsibility of the HOA to address. I really appreciated their honesty and fair pricing—no surprises or unnecessary upselling. It’s such a relief to find a reliable plumber you can trust. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of quality plumbing services!
24/7 Emergency Plumbing
Plumbing emergencies don't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Apex Plumbing answers calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across Contra Costa County.

- Water is pouring from a pipe, ceiling or water heater and you need it stopped now
- Sewage is backing up into a tub, shower or floor drain
- The whole house has no water, no hot water, or a gas smell near the water heater
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Anything that's actively damaging your home or making it unsafe: burst or leaking pipes, a leaking water heater, sewer backups, overflowing toilets, a failed sump pump during rain, or a suspected gas leak at an appliance. If you're not sure, call — we'll tell you honestly whether it can wait.
What to do while we're on the way
Shut off the water at the fixture valve or the main house valve (usually near the hose bib at the front of the house or at the meter). For a gas smell, leave the building and call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000, then call us. Move valuables away from the water, and don't run water or flush if you have a sewer backup.
How emergency calls work with Apex
You reach a real person, not an answering service, and we give you an honest arrival window. Our vans carry the parts and equipment for most repairs — water heaters, drain machines, sewer cameras, hydro-jetting — so most emergencies are fixed on the first visit. You get a clear price before any work starts.
What's included

Highly recommend! Nick did a really nice job and for the best price out of four quotes. Will be calling Apex first for my next plumbing project.
Nick and his team were just top notch. We had another national plumbing company quoted us $7K to fix a sub-pump issue, and Nick figured it out in like half an hour, no charge. I’m not kidding. He didn’t even accept a tip— said we should just use APEX again in the future if something needed fixing. Thank you Nick!
Apex plumbing is top notch. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs you have. I had an issue with an exterior leak and Nick was able to meet me on time and diagnose and fix the issue. Call Nick he will take care of you.
Highly Recommend! We had an outstanding experience with this plumbing company! Nick, the owner, came out to switch a toilet for us and was everything you hope for in a local professional—punctual, friendly, and very fair priced. He took the time to explain exactly why our old toilet wasn’t working properly and even offered helpful suggestions on a few DIY projects my not-so-handy spouse has going on. Nick was incredibly generous with his time, knowledge, and energy. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond simply because they care about doing things right. We’ll absolutely be calling him for any future plumbing needs and recommending him to friends and neighbors. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable plumber, look no further!
Not only did they send someone out right away but the 2 plumbers they sent out went out of their way to assess and take care of our problem, which happened to be a fork stuck in our washing machine drain. Boy did we have a good laugh about that. I would definitely call them again for any future plumbing issues and highly recommend their company.
