I had a fantastic experience with Apex Plumbing service. From the moment I called, they were responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. The plumber arrived right on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and explained everything clearly before getting started. It was determined that the root cause of the problem was a sewer backflow pipe issue, which falls under the responsibility of the HOA. Unfortunately, this led to sewage backing up into my garage and causing damage. The plumber handled the situation efficiently and with great attention to detail. They not only addressed the immediate issue but also ensured everything was clean and in proper working order before leaving. It’s clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. While additional repairs such as drywall replacement, sanitation, and mold treatment are still needed, those are the responsibility of the HOA to address. I really appreciated their honesty and fair pricing—no surprises or unnecessary upselling. It’s such a relief to find a reliable plumber you can trust. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of quality plumbing services!
Home Plumbing Inspection
A plumbing inspection finds the small problems before they become expensive ones. Ideal before buying a home, after moving in, or for an older house that hasn't been looked at in years.

- You're buying a home and the general inspector 'ran the taps'
- Older galvanized or cast-iron pipes and you don't know their condition
- You keep getting small surprises: a leak here, a slow drain there
What we inspect
Water heater age and condition, supply pipe material and pressure, visible leaks and corrosion, fixtures and shut-off valves, drain performance, the sewer line by camera (optional add-on), gas connections at appliances, and the main shut-off. We check the crawlspace, not just the fixtures.
What you get
A clear written report with photos, what's fine, what needs attention soon, and what's a safety issue — with honest pricing for any repairs. No pressure; many inspections end with 'you're in good shape.'
Pre-purchase inspections
Sewer lines and water heaters are the two most expensive surprises in East Bay home purchases. A plumbing and sewer inspection during your contingency period gives you leverage to negotiate or walk away.
What's included
- Whole-house plumbing check
- Water heater assessment
- Pressure & shut-off valve test
- Sewer camera add-on
- Photo report in plain English
- Repair pricing included

Highly recommend! Nick did a really nice job and for the best price out of four quotes. Will be calling Apex first for my next plumbing project.
Nick and his team were just top notch. We had another national plumbing company quoted us $7K to fix a sub-pump issue, and Nick figured it out in like half an hour, no charge. I’m not kidding. He didn’t even accept a tip— said we should just use APEX again in the future if something needed fixing. Thank you Nick!
Apex plumbing is top notch. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs you have. I had an issue with an exterior leak and Nick was able to meet me on time and diagnose and fix the issue. Call Nick he will take care of you.
Highly Recommend! We had an outstanding experience with this plumbing company! Nick, the owner, came out to switch a toilet for us and was everything you hope for in a local professional—punctual, friendly, and very fair priced. He took the time to explain exactly why our old toilet wasn’t working properly and even offered helpful suggestions on a few DIY projects my not-so-handy spouse has going on. Nick was incredibly generous with his time, knowledge, and energy. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond simply because they care about doing things right. We’ll absolutely be calling him for any future plumbing needs and recommending him to friends and neighbors. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable plumber, look no further!
Not only did they send someone out right away but the 2 plumbers they sent out went out of their way to assess and take care of our problem, which happened to be a fork stuck in our washing machine drain. Boy did we have a good laugh about that. I would definitely call them again for any future plumbing issues and highly recommend their company.
